TATA Group Chairmen: 1868 to 2024
TATA Group Chairmen is the the Chairmen of the board of TATA sons. It was founded in 1868 by Sir Jamshedji TATA with a cotton mill. later on it became India‘s largest conglomerate with total of 30 companies.
The TATA group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents. In 2023-24, the combined revenue of Tata companies, was more than $165 billion. There are 26 publicly listed Tata enterprises with a combined market capitalization of more than $365 billion as on March 31, 2024.
Some major TATA companies are TATA Consultancy Services (TCS), TATA steel, TATA Motors, TATA Power, TITAN, Indian Hotels, Trent, Air India and many more.

- The longest serving Chairman of TATA group was Sir JRD TATA for 53 Years.
- Cyrus Mistry was the first chairman outside of the TATA family.
