As on 31 Aug, 2024, Total installed power generation capacity of India stands at approximately 451 gigawatts (GW). This capacity includes a mix of thermal, renewable, hydroelectric, solar, wind and nuclear energy sources. As Indian population growing, the power demand in has grown significantly.
