  • The population replacement rate is 2.1 at which any country’s population remain same.
  • Fertility rate above 2.1, population of any country will increase and below 2.1, it will decrease, assuming that mortality rates remain constant and net migration is zero
  • Niger, African country has the highest rate at 6.74.
